The Process
Step 1:
Book your photo session
Let's chat about getting you booked. I'll make the entire process simple and easy. Fill out my Contact Form here and let me know your due date. Newborn sessions usually take place within the first 14 days of delivery.
Step 2:
Prepare with helpful guidance
Together we'll plan all the details from what-to-wear, to how to prep your home. Hint: you don't have to stress about making everything perfect. A little tidying up (if needed) can go a long way.
Step 3:
Capture your love and connection with your new baby
Enjoy your baby-led photo session experience with a stress-free photoshoot. Think connection over perfection. No forced poses or props.
Step 4:
Gallery Delivery sent to your email address
Your beautiful gallery of images carefully selected and edited will be sent in a private gallery link ready for download. You will have the convenient option to order gorgeous print products directly from your gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Usually within the first 14 days of birth when your infant is still very tiny. However, if you or your baby need more time we'll adjust as needed.

Approximately 90-minutes. This allows time for your casual paced session plus feeding and diaper changing when needed.

Your session is $595. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to save your date. The remainder of your balance is due prior to your session.

Approximately 3 weeks after your newborn photo shoot you will receive a minimum of 50 images, in both color and black-and-white. Your final edited images will arrive in a private online gallery linked to your email address, ready for download. You will also have the convenience option to order print products from a professional high-quality lab. Clients love the quality of their prints and the ease of ordering right from their gallery.

Your baby is in charge! He/she is welcome to be asleep, awake, fussy, or whatever is natural. It's all good. I will not put your baby in any forced or un-natural positions as safety is my number one priority, always.

10:00 AM is usually a good start time for babies and parents.

I believe your baby is perfect just the way he/she is without any distractions. Photos of your infant in your arms or your partner's arms are all the props we need. It's all about connection and remembering these early days. But, of course, if you have a special item, blanket, gift, or something sentimental you want included, we absolutely will.

Yes, but only for a short amount of time. Keeping your newborn physically close to you helps with strengthing the important growing bond and I don't want to disrupt that. For this reason the majority of your images will be taken with your baby close to you and family.

Absolutely. Documenting this intimate time between you and your infant is very special. If you prefer to nurse in private without photos I respect your decision.

You will receive a prep guide that includes wardrobe guidance.

Contact me here and tell me your due date. After you give birth, reach out to me so we can schedule your photo session. This date is flexible based on both you and your baby. A 50% non-refundable but transferable deposit is required with the balance due prior to your session.

I'm beyond thankful and honored to have had some amazing life experiences – long distance hiker, 27-year member of our Armed Forces, wife, health care worker, world traveler, cat mom – and through it all, photography has been my journal. It started as a hobby, grew into a passion, and now a business. I can't put a value on all those photographs. But I do know this: I’m endlessly grateful I have them.
